ASAM Selects Association Strategies and Tuft & Associates to Lead Its CEO Search

Rockville, MD – The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) today announced that it has selected Association Strategies (ASI) in partnership with Tuft & Associates to lead the search to replace ASAM’s CEO, Penny S. Mills.  Ms. Mills recently announced that she plans to retire in early June 2020.

The search process, including the selection of the search firm, is being overseen by a Search Task Force comprised of members of the ASAM Board of Directors and other organizational leaders. The Task Force is chaired by ASAM’s President, Dr. Paul H. Earley.

“Association Strategies led the search for ASAM’s past two CEOs,” said Dr. Earley.  “We believe that ASI’s familiarity with ASAM combined with its partnership with Tuft & Associates will help us to find an outstanding next leader for our organization, “ he added.

Those who are interested in leading ASAM into the future as its next CEO are encouraged to contact either Pamela Kaul, Association Strategies (Pamela@assnstrategies.com) or Jill Christie, Tuft & Associates (jchristie@tuftassoc.com).
