ASAM Signs Onto Letter Supporting Smoke-Free VHA Facilities

On March 6th, ASAM signed onto a letter with other organizations to Congressional Representatives Brad Wenstrup and Lauren Underwood, underscoring support for their legislation to make Veterans Health Administration (VHA) facilities fully smoke-free. Scientific evidence shows their is no safe level of exposure to secondhand smoke, and sick and disabled veterans should not be subjected to secondhand smoke or e-cigarette aerosol as they seek medical care.
