If you attend the ASAM review Course in Addiction Medicine, you will automatically receive the Review Course CD Rom, and on that CD Rom you will find approximtely 250 sample questions.
All you need to do is search for the physician by last name in our membership directory, and it will let you know. [Verification of Certification]
Yes, ASAM Certification is valid for 10 years, and will expire, unless you were certified in 1996 or in any year prior to 1996, then your certification does not expire, and you are not required to the take the ASAM Examination in order to maintain your certified status.
The exam is rougly 7 hours long. There are roughly two hundred questions for each part of the exam.
